Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths, Enwrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and the half-light, I would spread the cloths under your feet: But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams. W.B. Yeats

Thorp Perrow KS1 Trip.

Class 1 and Class 2 had a fantastic time exploring the different habitats they found at Thorp Perrow Arboretum and as a special treat we were able to meet the falcon chick. Class 1 were even lucky enough to see the joey wallaby in its mothers pouch!

Hannah said, ” I really liked the meerkats and looking at the wallabies.”

” What beautiful feathers the peregrine falcon has!” Anne.

“The goats were soft.” Said Lucas.

“I enjoyed seeing lots of funny shaped leaves and different coloured trees.” Lara.

“What beautiful leaves the trees had! I liked the little chick walking slowly.” Fausta.

“What a beautiful day it was!” Esme.

” What a lot of trees we saw!” Laughed Adam.

We had a lot of fun and would like to say thank you to the PTFA for giving us some money towards the cost of the trip.
