Hawes Community Primary School

Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths, Enwrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and the half-light, I would spread the cloths under your feet: But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams. I really liked Ted because his voice sounded a bit wierd but amusing. I liked the way he blew kisses to everyone at the end. I would like to have a go at making on myself.

Mrs M,<div>How kind. Hawes is indeed a beautiful place and it is a great joy to share. Obviously your own blog at <a href="http://www.middlehampri2.posterous.com">www.middlehampri2.posterous.com</a&gt; is also very special. I think I need to try to get Ted to smile next time!<div> <br></div><div>Mr E<br><br></div></div>

Hi Ted!Congratulations Hawes on your phenomenal number of visitors – what an achievement for a small school which really is ‘in the middle of nowhere’ (meant in the kindest possbile way!) Nestling in the lea of the Penines, many miles from the nearest city or even large town, Hawes has always been quite an isolated farming community – how wonderful to see it opened up to the world – and the world opened up to its children – via this blog. So much hard work – but healthy rewards. Keep up the good work.
