Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths, Enwrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and the half-light, I would spread the cloths under your feet: But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams. At last my cold has gone and my glasses are fixed! In North Yorkshire we have quite a lot of different markets. I think this is because we are spread out in lots of small ‘market’ towns and villages. This is a photo of fish on a market stall. This family have been selling fish in the area for over 60 years.

Question 75: Do you have many markets where you live?

Question 76: If you were eating fish, would you catch it, buy it from a supermarket or buy it from a small market trader?

Question 77: Is there a favourite fish dish that you enjoy?

My answer to ‘Question 77’: I think fish and chips is a very English thing. They can be awful and greasy and not very nice at all, however when done well they are absolutely gorgeous. I will go to the ‘Hawes Chippy’ and take some photos to post one day … you will have to add salt and vinegar for yourself.
